1. Permitted Uses
KDP AI Studio is built for self-publishers. You may use it for any lawful publishing workflow, including:
- Researching niches, keywords, categories and market demand.
- Generating and refining titles, subtitles, descriptions, outlines and interior page plans.
- Producing cover concepts and marketing copy for books you intend to publish.
- Publishing and commercialising the resulting work on Amazon KDP or other marketplaces.
- Using the service on behalf of your own business, provided each user has their own account.
You remain responsible for reviewing and editing every output before you publish it.
2. Prohibited Uses
The following are prohibited regardless of intent, and apply to prompts you submit as well as content you generate and publish. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive.
Illegal Activities
Do not use the service to plan, promote or facilitate any activity that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours, including fraud, money laundering, trafficking, weapons or drug manufacture, evasion of sanctions, or the creation of content that exploits or endangers minors. Child sexual abuse material results in immediate permanent termination and referral to authorities.
Spam
Do not mass-produce low-value, duplicated or keyword-stuffed listings designed to manipulate marketplace search, generate deceptive reviews, or flood a category with near-identical titles. Automated bulk generation intended purely to spam a storefront is a breach of this policy and of most marketplace rules.
Malware
Do not use the service to generate, host or distribute malicious code, exploits, phishing pages, credential harvesters or instructions for attacking systems, and do not upload files intended to compromise our infrastructure or other users.
Copyright Violations
Do not submit or generate content that infringes copyright, trademarks, trade dress or publicity rights, including reproducing a protected work, imitating a branded series, or using a living author's or celebrity's name to imply endorsement. Claims are handled under our DMCA Copyright Policy.
Hate Content
Do not create content that dehumanises, harasses or incites violence or discrimination against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation, and do not promote extremist or terrorist organisations.
Adult Content
KDP AI Studio is not intended for pornographic or sexually explicit material. Do not generate sexual content involving minors under any circumstances, non-consensual sexual content, or explicit imagery prompts. Mature themes handled responsibly in fiction remain permitted where they comply with the destination marketplace's own content rules.
Platform Abuse
Do not scrape, reverse engineer, resell or white-label the service, share or resell accounts and credits, circumvent rate limits or credit accounting, use automation to overload our systems, probe our security without written authorisation, or use the platform to build a competing product.
AI Misuse
Do not attempt to bypass safety systems through jailbreak prompts, generate deliberate disinformation or impersonation, produce medical, legal or financial advice presented as professional guidance, or publish AI output as human-authored where a marketplace or law requires disclosure. 3. Reporting Violations
If you believe a user is breaching this policy, email support@kdpaistudio.app with the details and any evidence. Reports are reviewed confidentially.
4. Account Suspension
We investigate suspected violations and respond proportionately. Depending on severity we may warn you, restrict a feature, remove content, suspend the account or terminate it permanently. Severe violations — especially those involving minors, credible threats or fraud — result in immediate termination without warning and may be reported to law enforcement.
Accounts terminated for a breach are not eligible for a refund, as set out in our Refund Policy. You may appeal a decision within 30 days by emailing support@kdpaistudio.app; appeals are reviewed by a human.
